Blooming RuBee was created a few years ago when I decided to follow my dream of becoming a florist. I returned to college as a mature student and loved every minute of it.
For over 5 year I created special guest bouquets for our local luxury hotel, Seaham Hall, but I then decided weddings were my passion. Not only is it seeing a smile on a brides face at delivery, but also the excitement of planning, finding the right colours, choosing the correct blooms and ribbons, the whole process!

Where the floral magic happens...
I am located in Seaham, County Durham in a studio space in my garden. I share the space between my florals and my 2nd business, Blooming RuBee Stitches, which is embroidery based. I often combine my florals with the embroidery to make bespoke arrangements that extra bit special.
My partner in crime...
My partner, Ian, helps a lot with the logistics so he will often accompany me for support on a wedding delivery, helping me carry everything and put displays in place. If a ladder and tie wraps are required he will be there either up the ladder or holding it for me!! It is very much a team effort. We put everything into a wedding, to make sure everything is fresh, perfect and exactly how you want.
Delivery to suit you
We can deliver your blooms either to your chosen venue or to your home or hotel, wherever is convenient. This will all be planned out before hand, conversing with the photographer, cake maker and other suppliers if required.
Rentals
We have many items available to rent which can be included in your quotation, such as various styles of glass wear, a traditional post box, a floral arch, hurricane lamps, candle sticks, table decor, easels and mirrors to name just a few. If you have any requests not stated please ask.
Leave the stress with me
The most important part of your wedding journey is to feel relaxed and enjoy the planning as much as the day itself. I will try to take away any floral worries or concerns you may have and can be contacted most hours of the day if you have a burning question or a change of design.
